Cliven Bundy and his armed supporters

Cliven Bundy and his armed supporters faced off... "Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie has said Bundy crossed the line when he allowed states' rights supporters, including self-proclaimed militia members, onto his property to aim guns at police."  No arrest, hailed by FoxNews as patriots, not thugs, no tear gas, etc. Ferguson protesters...over 91 days of peaceful protest, then a minority of idiots resort to violence and all are branded thugs... Waco shootout and we're advised that not all bikers are represented by some. Riots after Superbowl's, World Series, coaches being fired and "Pumpkin Festivals" and the outcry is subdued and 'they don't represent the school...", etc. There is a disparity, there are problems, but it is a multi-layered problem: police training & hiring, social, environmental, and racial; with a need for multi-layered, cultivated solutions. Reducing it to an "Us versus them" mentality no matter how appealing that defense is, it is simplistic and will do little more than increase tension and animosity.           GlennDL
